ART WITH A STORY

Waters Church Guatemala has many local ministries but as a church we believe in MISSIONS.  So monthly we travel for 1-2 days to the Rio Dulce.  This drawing is from an orphan named Jessica. Before she arrived her new home, Casa Agua Azul, her dad was murdered and her mom sold her and her sister off to be married at age 12.  We met them both and their 2 little sisters.  We taught each of them about Jesus, then offered them all Salvation in HIS name. All 4 of them said yes and right away we baptized them. A couple months later we dedicated their lives to him.  The day Jessica drew this drawing, they all joined us for communion for the very first time.  When you support Waters Church Guatemala you support us financially to reach those far from God. You give orphans, like Jessica and her 3 sisters,  the opportunity to be born again, washed clean from their past, and to start a new life.

FOLLOW ME

This photo was taken from the small man-made lake outside the Business Center on the campus of Hope of Life. It reminds us about the days Jesus just walked up to some non-famous, ordinary fisherman and said to them, “Follow me.”  When you support Waters Church Guatemala you are supporting our ministry of making disciples and creating the means for us to walk up to some ordinary people and ask them to follow us as we follow Christ.
